Not your grandma's dental office! – We have created a fun, non-threatening environment for you and your child. From the moment you walk in you will encounter a colorful, interactive and fun environment. From toys, movies, dry erase and magnetic walls, to our welcoming and friendly staff. We are very proud of our well-kept, though through and beautiful office space.
Our greatest asset is our team! – Our team is passionate and good about what they do-you will see! Treating young or anxious children can be at times challenging. Our staff is trained and has the heart to deal with these situations in a loving and safe manner. We don’t take your trust in us for granted!
It’s also about you, the parent – We provide education and counseling as well as thorough explanations of procedures, treatment options, finances and overall approach to a successful dental experience for your child. We listen!
Cincinnati's premier dentist for kids – All ages from infancy until adulthood — sometimes they don’t want to leave!
One-of-a-kind & forward-thinking – I believe oral health is extremely import. But I also believe your child’s emotional well-being, based on his/her cognitive ability, level of anxiety, coping mechanism due to medical or behavioral issues are as important when determining the right path in providing that care. That’s why we personalized each experience-no two children are the same, why should their dental experience?
We like to have fun too! – We seem goofy at times, but don’t think for a moment we are not professional and providing excellent dental care. We are good at what we do, and we care :)
You probably know me as "Dr. Callen's favorite"; it is an ongoing joke in the office... The truth is, I have known her the longest. I first worked with her when she was in training to become a pediatric dentist in 1994 and I was a dental assistant at Cincinnati Children's. A lot has changed since then; I got married, had three beautiful girls and obtained my certification as a dental hygienist.
I have been a dental assistant since 1981 and can’t imagine doing anything else. This job keeps me young; I very much enjoy the fun energetic atmosphere. Gardening and cooking is how I recharge my batteries!
At Dr. Callen’s office you can find me at the front helping people schedule and answering questions. If I am not at my regular spot, it usually means I am working with insurance companies, sending statements or pre-determinations to better serve you with the finacial aspects of the practice. I am also you general anesthesia and in-office intravenous sedation coordinator. I assist parents in understanding and completing the process from beginning to end. I have been with Dr. Callen since 2018, but have been in dentistry since 2011. Outside of the office I enjoy the outdoors and exploring with my husband, our two boys , and our dog Scooter
I have been a pediatric dental assistant since 2010 and an expanded functions dental assistant since 2016. The main difference between these two titles is that as an EFDA, I am certified to do more advanced dental treatment on my own such as dental sealants and restorations. I love working with kids and my job gives me the chance to work with them one-to-one in a more personal setting. ! In my free time, I love to cook and spend time with my husband Andrew, our daughters, Bailey and Aubrey, and our dog JJ.
